Build-To-Suit

Using the Build-To-Suit (BTS) approach, our team will oversee, guide, and manage each step of your wind turbine project on a turnkey installation basis, including preliminary planning, site inspection & selection, evaluation, project scope & design, electrical & structural engineering, wind turbine procurement, surveying & placement, dirt work, component logistics & delivery to the site, foundation construction, tower erection, installation of the hub assembly, blades, and nacelle, electrical tie-ins, work with local power company & related interconnection agreements, through to the commissioning of the wind turbine installation ready to produce power and more.

Power Purchase Agreement

Under the Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) approach for certain qualified facilities, our team will fully fund, and construct a fully operational wind turbine installation, then our group will own and operate the wind turbine installation under a negotiated long-term contract to sell power to the site owner.

The PPA approach affords several advantages to the site owner, namely the site owner does not bear the financial burden to fund and build the wind power installation at its locations but rather agrees to purchase the power as the installations generates power. The PPA approach shifts the performance risk of building and operational risk associated with operating the wind power facility to our group.

Our team will perform the same project development activities as under the BTS approach outlined above, including overseeing, guiding, and managing each step of the wind turbine project to complete a fully operational installation, including preliminary planning, site inspection & selection, evaluation, project scope & design, electrical & structural engineering, wind turbine procurement, surveying & placement, dirt work, component logistics & delivery to the site, foundation construction, tower erection, installation of the hub assembly, blades, and nacelle, electrical tie-ins, work with local power company & related interconnection agreements, through to the commissioning of the wind turbine installation ready to produce power and more.

Our group is actively seeking qualified commercial scale wind power PPA projects throughout the world and evaluate each wind power project on its individual merits.

Funding Options

We also work with third party lenders and other funding sources who are capable of providing flexible long-term funding terms for qualified site owners who may be interested in seeking financing options for their wind power installations.

Favorable US Tax Attributes

For wind turbine projects to be built in the United States or otherwise subject to US tax laws, favorable tax attributes for qualified renewable energy projects are now in place in the form of tax credits and accelerated depreciation. A site owner may only elect either the Investment Tax Credit (ITC) for 30% for qualified project costs through the end of 2017 or the Production Tax Credit (PTC) generally based on the actual kWh produced annually the first 10 years of the installation's operations. Please seek professional tax advice for deals.

What's The Next Step?

Is my business a good candidate for it’s own wind turbine system? Can a wind turbine system provide energy savings to my company? Is there enough wind at my site for a wind turbine to produce power in commercial quantities? These are just a few of the basic questions and issues that must be evaluated specifically for your site. If your business consumes commercial quantities of electricity, and you have good average wind speeds, then a wind turbine installation may be appropriate.

For questions regarding your commercial power needs, and to determine what role a commercial sized wind turbine system might play in meeting those power needs, please contact our team of experienced professionals and allow us to help you get started. We oversee, guide, and manage each step of your wind turbine project on a “turn-key” basis, including site selection, evaluation, surveying, dirt work, concrete and foundation work, tower erection, installation of the hub assembly, blades, and nacelle, funding for qualified sites, power purchase agreements, and more.
